シンポジウムの企画、登壇者を考えるとき（第17回FDフォーラム振り返り）
書く書く詐欺になるところでしたが、やっと書きます（笑）。
3/3、4に大学コンソーシアム京都主催の第17回FDフォーラムが京都産業大学でありました。
詳細はTogetterにまとめがあります。
JFDN Jr.のメルマガにも書いたので、また掲載します。
いろいろ工夫してみたりしたので、どういう考えでやったのか、ということを記録しておくことで、なんか役に立つかも、と思ったので、つらつらと書いてみます。
今年度は、私、FDフォーラムの企画検討委員を拝命（というか、知らん間になっていた（苦笑））しまして、企画・運営に関わりました。昨年度まで3年間、FD、大学教育についてがっつり取り組んできた、ということもあり、委員会の中で、今年度はキャリアに関するテーマを扱うということで議論が進みました。
私は今年からの委員なので、ほうほう、と思って聞いていたのですが、初日のシンポジウムを担当する委員を決定する段階になって停滞。そんな中、指名され、雰囲気で「じゃあ、やります」といってしまい、あれよあれよという間に、まさかの初日シンポジウムを担当することに。まじですか、と思ったのも、後の祭り（笑）。
キャリア教育については、素人なので、困ったぞ、と思いつつも、やるからには、いいものにしたい、と思って、いろいろ考えてみました。
まず、タイトルですが、「企業が求める人材って、大学で育成しないとだめ？」としました。くだけてる、という印象を持たれた方もあったと思いますし、いろいろ意見もあったらしいのですが、まず、世に流れる「企業は即戦力がほしい」「大学で何を教えているんだ」という、ステレオタイプな意見を全面的に否定したい、というのがありました。
その上で、ややキャッチーな方がよかろうと。FDフォーラムは1000名前後の参加者があり、大学教員のみならず、職員も多い。半数は初めて参加（大学から出張してきてね、ということが多いのだと思います）。といった条件を考えると、やや軽い感じのほうが参加しやすいだろう、と考えました。また、問いかけにしているのは、1回はYesかNoか考えるかな、っていう狙いも少しあります。この問いは最後まで有効に機能しました（児美川先生の最後の発言に助けられた、とも言いますが）
シンポジウムを考える上で、全体的に参考にしたのは、溝上先生＠京大が中心に行なっている大学生研究フォーラムでした。今回、担当することになったときに、すぐにこれが頭をよぎりました。キャリア教育に詳しくないので、登壇者の候補もついつい、大学生研究フォーラムで話を聞いたことある人ばかりが出てきてしまいます。
ただ、参考にしつつ、差異も出さないといけないなぁ、と。 だって、「ああ、あれ溝上さんのイベントによく似てたよね」と思われるのも、なんかねぇ（苦笑）。
というわけで、参考にしながらも、自分なりに登壇者を探さなければ、ということになります。
パネリストについては、当初、大学教員2名、企業の方1名、という枠組みを考えました。
・キャリア教育全体の概観のお話をしていただける人、
・企業の視点から、採用や教育のお話をしていただける人、
・大学のキャリア教育の実践をお話ししていただける人
かなぁ、と。
実践については、会場校で、キャリア教育で有名な京都産業大学から1名お願いする、ということで決まりました。後日、松高先生をご紹介いただきました。
次に、キャリア教育全体のお話をしていただける人です。
キャリア教育の本を読みあさっていると、児美川先生＠法政大の「若者はなぜ「就職」できなくなったのか？―生き抜くために知っておくべきこと」という本が面白い。共感しまくり。でも、話を聞いたことないしなぁ、どんな人かなぁ、と。本や論文が面白いのと、話が面白いのは、別の話なので、どうしようかと思っておりました。そんな時に、山田くん＠愛媛大のブログ「若者の「就職」問題に関する講演」（当時、島根大）に、児美川先生の講演の感想が書いてある。山田くんがこう書いてる、ってことは、きっと面白かったに違いない、と思い、ご登壇のお願いメールを送ったのでした。すぐにご快諾いただき、ありがたかったです。
さて。
企業の人とか、知り合いいないんですけど。いや、友達はいますよ、そりゃ。でも、人事部長とか、いないよ。どうすりゃいいのさ、ハニー。しばらく途方にくれておりました。
そういう時に、救いの手は差し伸べられます。すばらしい。
ベネッセの小村さんから「産学協同 就業力育成シンポジウム」の案内メールがMLに届きました。メンバーを見ると、超豪華。まじか！この人脈を頼るべし！
小村さんはこの2週間ほど前に初対面。中野さんから学会前日に誘っていただき、ベネッセを見学した後、3名でご飯を食べたのでした。「面白いことやりたい」エネルギーがすごくて、やっぱりすごい人はいるものだ、と思ったところで。なんてラッキー。間をとりもってください、とお願いしたところ、快諾していただき、資生堂の深澤様（人事部人材開発室室長）をご紹介いただけることになりました。
ここで、3名決まったわけですが、この流れ。私は司会だし、がしがし質問するのも難しそうだし、指定討論で小村さんにお願いしたら、面白いんじゃないの？せっかくだから、企業も2名ほしいよね、そりゃ。と思ったのでした。で、小村さんに相談したところ、上司の松本様をご紹介いただくことに。おおお、またすごいな、これは。
という感じで、登壇者が決まったのでした。実は指定討論者を置くことは最初考えていませんでした。自分がよく指定討論をやるのですが、議論の流れを決めるポジションで、かつ、他の人に比べて話す時間は短い。なので、普通はよく知っている人にしかお願いできないんですよね。ちなみに、私は指定討論するの好きなので、何かあれば呼んでください（笑）。
こんな感じで、シンポジウムの登壇者は決定したのでありました。みんなどうやって決めてるんでしょうねぇ。
